What Makes ABL Different?
The defining feature of an ABL tube is its aluminum barrier layer.
Unlike conventional PE tubes, where the tube wall is primarily based on polyethylene, ABL uses a laminated structure containing a thin aluminum layer between polymer layers.

Plastic Barrier Laminate (PBL) combines a multi-layer plastic laminate structure with an EVOH barrier layer, providing protection against oxygen, moisture and other external factors while maintaining the flexibility and appearance expected from modern cosmetic packaging.
Its smooth surface supports high-quality graphics, metallic effects, holographic finishes and other premium decoration, making PBL especially suitable for products where both protection and shelf appeal matter.
What Makes PBL Different?
Unlike ABL, PBL does not use an aluminum foil barrier. Instead, its barrier performance comes from EVOH incorporated within the laminate structure.
This gives PBL a more plastic-like appearance and feel while providing better barrier performance than conventional PE structures. It is particularly attractive when brands want a combination of product protection, flexibility and premium aesthetics.

What Makes PE Different?
Unlike ABL and PBL, which are made from pre-produced laminate webs, PE tubes are formed by extruding polyethylene into the tube sleeve.
